My name is Christine Thomas-Bell
I have over seven years experience in the Killeen Independent School District (KISD) as a teacher of English Language Arts & Reading. I have served as Department Facilitator for the English Language Arts and Reading and member of the KISD Curriculum Council.
Over ten years of experience in the field of education in the Broward County Public Schools in Florida, with an emphasis on Intensive Reading and Exceptional Student Education.
I am results oriented with excellent oral and written communication skills.

This professional portfolio was created as a requirement of the Region 12 principal preparation program. The program lasted nine months and prepared me to be an administrator at the campus level. I attended classes that were facilitated by experts in all areas of educational leadership and I was guided through my internship by my school principal who was my mentor.

This was a great experience for me and I would recommend this program to anyone interested in becoming a school administrator.
